I originally painted this several years ago from a photo my wife had taken in Venice. I was never quite happy with the painting.
As an architect, I am fascinated with the iconic Venitian buildings, and I felt that the original painting did not do them justice. I sanded down the original painting and began anew, altering some elements of the painting and using a different technique.
My hope is that you enjoy this new painting as much as I enjoyed painting it.
